Tottenham Hotspur are busy preparing for a new Premier League season and continue to search for new signings under Ange Postecoglou.

It isn’t often that you make your first summer signing in February.

That is exactly what Tottenham Hotspur did though, agreeing to sign Djurgarden wonderkid Lucas Bergvall ahead of the summer window.

Timo Werner’s stay at the club ended up being extended too, so Tottenham’s first two summer signings have been on the radar of supporters for a while.

Spurs then pounced to land Archie Gray from Leeds United, landing the 18-year-old after an impressive campaign in the Championship.

Tottenham still need to striker more deals though, so let’s take a look at some potential ins and outs for Ange Postecoglou

Yang Min-hyuk

Tottenham appear to be on the verge of a signing – and it’s yet another talent for the future.

Reports suggest that Tottenham are set to complete the signing of Gangwon wonderkid Yang Min-Hyuk.

Yang will undergo a medical and become a Tottenham player but is likely to be sent straight back out on loan to Gangwon.

The 18-year-old was a semi-pro in South Korea just a few months ago but Tottenham have seen enough to strike a deal for the winger.

Ivan Toney

Tottenham need to find another striker this summer and Brentford’s Ivan Toney continues to be mentioned.

TalkSPORT claim that Tottenham are joining West Ham in the race for Toney – and he is hoping Spurs make a move.

It’s suggested that Toney is ready to run down his contract if Brentford don’t sell him this summer.

Tottenham may be ready to pounce, but will be wary of splashing the cash on Toney when he could be signed for free in 2025.

Bryan Gil

As if it wasn’t already clear, Tottenham confirmed this week that Bryan Gil has no future at the club.

The Spaniard hasn’t been included in the Tottenham squad for the Asian tour having been left to figure out a transfer.

Postecoglou praised Gil for his training displays just a matter of months ago but the wide man is now available.

Mundo Deportivo now claim that Gil is on the verge of signing for La Liga side GIrona.

It’s stated that Girona may strike a loan deal with an option to buy, with only a ‘few details left’ before Gil joins the Champions League side.

Emerson Royal

This one has been rumbling on for a while now but AC Milan are back in the market for Emerson Royal.

Fabrizio Romano now claims that Milan have initiated new contact with Tottenham in an attempt to thrash out a deal for the Brazilian.

Romano claims that there is a gap of just €3million (£2.5million) as the two clubs attempt to agree on a valuation.

Emerson has agreed terms over a move to the San Siro and Tottenham may hope to get this one sorted with the right back behind Pedro Porro in Postecoglou’s pecking order.
