Tottenham have now pounced with another deal, confirming the signing of Leeds United teenager Archie Gray.
HITC reported in recent days that Tottenham had opened talks to sign Gray ahead of Premier League rivals Brentford.
Tottenham have now confirmed the deal with Gray signing a six-year deal in North London, completing his big move to the Premier League.

HITC also noted on Monday that Postecoglou had played a key role in convincing Gray to sign for Tottenham.
Postecoglou’s plans not only attracted Gray but also his family, who play a vital role in helping the teenager in the early stages of his career.
Gray’s father Andy, grandfather Frank and great uncle Eddie all played for Leeds too and they appear to have been impressed with Postecoglou’s ideas.
Gray has now spoken about his move to North London and the highlighted his immediate love for Postecoglou.
The teenager noted that he is a huge Celtic fan, which has been passed down to him through the Gray family.
Postecoglou spent two season in charge of Celtic, bringing silverware to Parkhead before departing to Tottenham last year.
Gray has told Tottenham’s official website that he and his family love Postecoglou, noting that he has never really spoken about his love for Celtic publicly.
Gray added that Postecoglou is a ‘massive factor’ in terms of being the kind of manager who can help him learn over the coming years.
“I’m not gonna lie to you, I’m a massive Celtic fan so I love him and my whole family loves him,” said Gray. “I haven’t really said this to be fair!”
“He’s also a massive factor because playing under a really good manager is really important for me as well and I’ve still got loads to learn because I’m only 18 so yeah, really important,” he added.
Postecoglou’s influence was clearly a major factor in Gray’s decision to leave Leeds.
Departing Elland Road will have been a tough decision for Gray but that prior love for Postecoglou – and his plans for Tottenham’s future – seem to have done the trick.
Tottenham will now look to develop Gray over the coming years and will hopefully see him become a real star under Postecoglou.
