Six players have already left Tottenham this summer but another is now set to leave the North London side.
Spurs started to rebuild under Ange Postecoglou after losing talisman and captain Harry Kane, and that process has continued into this summer.
Tottenham have already allowed five first-team players to leave as free agents, including £63million club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele.
Joe Rodon has also departed on a permanent deal to Leeds United for a £10million fee after spending last season on loan at Elland Road.
But Spurs are not stopping there and Emerson Royal could be the next to walk out the doors of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Emerson Royal is closing in on a move to AC Milan after falling down the pecking order under Postecoglou.

Fans ‘skeptical’ about £17m Emerson Royal deal
Thursday was marked as a key date for Royal’s potential move with Tottenham and AC Milan just £1million apart in their valuation of the right-back.
Italian journalist Andersinho Marques has now confirmed in an interview to MilanLive that Royal is “getting closer” to completing a move to Milan.
“The negotiation is ongoing, with an offer of around 10-15 million euros still on the table. However, there is still a gap between the valuations of the two clubs, as Tottenham are asking for around 20 million (£17million),” he said.
Marques also commented on how Royal’s transfer news has been received by AC Milan fans – and it isn’t great.
“The news of Emerson Royal’s arrival was not greeted with great enthusiasm. Many Milan fans are skeptical, especially considering the player’s inconsistent performances in the Premier League.”
Emerson Royal has a point to prove
Milan fans are right to be skeptical about Emerson Royal – he showed glimpses of brilliance in a Spurs shirt but failed to produce consistently.
But a move to Italy is a good chance for the 25-year-old to kickstart his career and play regular first-team football.

If Royal does complete a move to Milan, it seems Tottenham may have already identified a potential replacement in Fiorentina’s Michael Kayode.
HITC reported that Aston Villa had opened talks with the 20-year-old but Tottenham are also interested in Kayode.
