Ange Postecoglou has a big season ahead of him at Tottenham Hotspur after an encouraging debut campaign.
Tottenham returned to Europe, transformed their style of play and struggling players picked themselves up from the canvas and improved their performances.
Yves Bissouma was one of the players who struggled when he first arrived from Brighton and he just couldn’t get going under Antonio Conte.
His performances were brilliant throughout last season under Postecoglou, he looked and played like a settled player ready to take Tottenham to the next level.

But Daniel Levy has done some early talking in the summer transfer window by bringing in some much-needed competition into the team.
Given that Spurs will be playing Europa League football, that depth in quality is needed more than ever before because everyone saw how much the team struggled last time out when their midweeks were pretty much empty.
On Tuesday, the London club announced the signing of highly-rated Leeds United star Archie Gray, with Brentford getting pipped to his signature, as HITC exclusively revealed.
Even though Gray is going to be fighting for a place in the starting XI with a player like Bissouma, he was sure to welcome his new teammate with open arms.
The 18-year-old took to Instagram to express that he was ‘so grateful to be at this massive club’ and how he is ‘excited’ for what is ahead.
Bissouma was one of many players to react in the comments section of Gray’s IG post by either congratulating him on his move or welcoming him on board.

‘Welcome to the family, little baller’ wrote Bissouma.
‘Congrats bro on the move,” said Yannick Bolasie. “What a player. What a future ahead. Wishing you all the best.’

Many would look towards Gray’s age and think he might not be thrust into the limelight. Think again!
Gray was a regular starter for Leeds last season, playing at right-back and in the middle of the park, before their gut-wrenching defeat in the Championship play-off final.

He is more than capable of entering the Premier League stage and starting on a regular basis for Spurs and suiting Postecoglou’s system down to a tee.
Jack Clarke’s move to Hotspur Way from Leeds in 2019 didn’t go to plan, but Spurs were in a very different headspace back then and they are much more forward-thinking now.
