Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to praise Bukayo Saka, in reaction to Luke Shaw’s heartwarming comments about the Arsenal wonderkid.

What’s the story?

Well, Shaw praised Saka when speaking in The Lion’s Den – where England players can do activities and sit down to talk with the YouTube channel.

The £27 million Manchester United man said he wishes the 19-year-old was his child, and that everyone in the England camp loves him.

Shaw also said he would love Saka to be his brother, before continuing to hail the teenager for his character.

After hearing what the left-back said about Arsenal’s No.7, Lineker took to Twitter to praise Saka himself.

The BBC Match of the Day host described Saka as a ‘wonderfully talented’ footballer who is clearly a ‘delightful’ human being as well.

You can see Lineker’s tweet in full below.

It is quite impressive how quickly the 19-year-old has gelled into the England camp, a place that could scare some young prospects.

So many players have come out to praise Saka. He has truly captured the hearts of his teammates, it seems.

Declan Rice recently said that ‘everyone loves’ the versatile forward.

Elsewhere, Jadon Sancho sent a heartfelt message after Saka’s Man of the Match performance against the Czech Republic.

Additionally, Raheem Sterling said he loves playing with him.

By all accounts, Saka is becoming one of the most popular players in England, and long may it continue.
