Steve Holland and Ben White are the names on the lips of England supporters today after a rumour emerged about a bust-up involving the Arsenal defender.
The Football Association (FA) announced that the 25-year-old had left the World Cup squad on Wednesday 30th November for personal reasons, although the Daily Star believe it was due to a clash involving Holland and White.

The 52-year-old experienced a short, injury-hit playing career across spells at Derby, Bury, Husqvarna FF, Northwich Victoria and Hyde United, before going into coaching at the age of just 21.
Holland successfully completed the FA Full Coaching Licence by the age of 22 – one of the youngest to do so – before joining Crewe shortly after, where he worked his way up to become first-team coach at Crewe.
He then joined Chelsea in 2009, initially to work with the reserve team.
However, Holland eventually became a First Team Assistant at Stamford Bridge, working under the likes of Andre Villas-Boas, Roberto Di Matteo, Rafa Benitez, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
Having assisted Southgate in the England Under-21 setup while also working at Chelsea, Holland then left Stamford Bridge for good when the 52-year-old replaced Sam Allardyce in the senior setup, to become Assistant Manager of the England national football team.
Holland was then appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to association football, after England reached the final of EURO 2020.

The Daily Star add that White also struggled to mix with his England teammates, and became unhappy in Qatar.
Hopefully, the incident doesn’t affect White’s chances of making future England squads, as he has been superb for Arsenal so far this season as the Gunners sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League.
