President Donald Trump is now being blamed for the USMNT’s defeat on Monday against Belgium at the World Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team has now been eliminated from the tournament, with Belgium set to play Spain in the quarter-finals on Friday.
The game in Seattle had some extra spice added to it following the controversy leading up to the game following Folarin Balogun’s suspension being reversed.

What will Donald Trump have to say to get them out of this one? 👀
Balogun started the game for the USMNT, but he was unable to save Pochettino’s team from exiting the World Cup.
Trump made a call to FIFA to reverse Balogun’s suspension over the weekend; which did not go down well across the globe.
That is something that USMNT supporters now feel may have affected the team on Monday.
