Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy has reported that Harry Kane could be convinced into staying at Tottenham Hotspur beyond this season, provided Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel are appointed by the club.
Considering Antonio Conte’s future at Spurs is uncertain, it is likely that if Kane does end up staying, he will do so under a new manager.
Harry Kane cannot stop getting linked with an exit from his boyhood club, with Manchester United and Bayern Munich touted as two potential destinations for the 29-year-old striker.
While it would make sense for Kane to bid farewell to Tottenham in search of silverware elsewhere, it seems like Pochettino and Tuchel could change his mind.
Tuchel could persuade Kane to stay at Tottenham
Jamie Carragher has already urged the London-based club to try bringing in Roberto De Zerbi, while Paul Merson believes Mauricio Pochettino would be the ideal candidate once again.
In a recent report by Sky Sports‘ Melissa Reddy, it has been stated that Harry Kane could be convinced by either Thomas Tuchel or Mauricio Pochettino to stay at Tottenham, if either of them come in for Antonio Conte.
“Much will depend on where Spurs [and Manchester United] finish domestically this season, as well as who succeeds Conte.

“Mauricio Pochettino would convince Kane to extend his deal if appointed, while sources close to the player believe he could also be swayed by an ambitious hire like Thomas Tuchel.”
In our view: Harry Kane should push for exit regardless
Naturally, the England captain must have felt a sense of relief after the former Chelsea boss was appointed as his side’s manager due to his habit of lifting silverware.
But once again, things have gone south at Tottenham, due to the flaws in their project, which is why Harry Kane should prioritize an exit, even if Mauricio Pochettino returns or Thomas Tuchel walks through the door.
If Spurs are to become a winning club, the process is likely to take time and with the legendary striker turning 30 this year, patience is anything but a virtue when looking at things from his lens.
