As relayed by Foot Mercato, Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Daichi Kamada on a free transfer in the summer.
German outlet BILD had reported a month ago that Antonio Conte’s men had their sights set on signing the Eintracht Frankfurt attacker. Italian publication II Romanista had also claimed that Arsenal were keen on signing the 26-year-old.
However, now, it seems that both Tottenham and Arsenal could have a huge threat in Bayern in their bid to sign Kamada for free in 2023.
Bayern queue up in race for Tottenham target Kamada
With Julian Nagelsmann’s side adding Joao Cancelo their ranks, albeit on loan for the time being, they seem to have reverted to their age-old transfer strategy of signing talents within the Bundesliga.
Unfortunately, this could become a problem from Tottenham Hotspur, as it has been relayed by Foot Mercato that Bayern Munich are now eyeing a switch for Daichi Kamada, who is set to become a free agent in the summer.

Could this mean that Spurs now fail to land a player they have seemingly targeted for the past couple of months?
It’s not looking good for Tottenham
Forget the fact that Bayern Munich guarantee silverware to any transfer target such as Daichi Kamada, once praised by Hansi Flick for doing a ‘great job’ in German football (via Japan Times) to a far higher degree than Tottenham, and consider that the latter may not even be able to offer Champions League football next season.
Currently, the Japanese international is set to feature in the Round of 16 of the competition, as it is.
Furthermore, Antonio Conte continues to flirt with an exit in the summer, while Julian Nagelsmann, whose job has been questioned in recent weeks is still in a far more stable state at his club.
Keeping all factors in mind, it is far likelier than Daichi Kamada heads to Bayern instead of Tottenham on a free transfer.
