Evan Ndicka has an agreement in place with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, according to Il Romanista, which will come as a blow for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
Tottenham and Newcastle target Evan Ndicka to join Arsenal
Italian outlet Roma Giallorossa reported in November that Newcastle and Tottenham are among the clubs interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt central defender Ndicka.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at German club Frankfurt at the end of the season and will be available on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.
Il Romanista have now reported that AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho wants to sign the young defender, but he already has an agreement in place with Arsenal to move to the Gunners on a free transfer next summer.

Interesting claim
In our opinion, it is quite an interesting claim from Il Romanista that Evan Ndicka has an agreement in place with Arsenal.
Yes, Ndicka is a very good centre-back and is only 23, but we have to ask whether Arsenal need another centre-back.
William Saliba and Gabriel have established themselves as the centre-back pairing in manager Mikel Arteta’s first team.
Ben White is playing at right-back for the Gunners at the moment, but he is a centre-back by trade.
