Tottenham Hotspur now have a clear run at the Bosman transfer of Evan Ndicka. Eintracht Frankfurt seem to accept he is leaving as they close in on Royal Antwerp ace Willian Pacho.

Die Adler have remained hopeful of convincing Ndicka to extend his spell at Deutsche Bank Park beyond this season. The defender is out of contract with the Bundesliga club this June after five years in Germany. He is also a mainstay of their squad under boss Oliver Glasner.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s sports director, Markus Krosche, told Sky Germany earlier this month that they had offered Ndicka a new contract. But the 23-year-old’s future has increasingly appeared to be away from Hesse. Instead, it has gradually appeared likely to be in England.

Evan Ndicka’s agent has offered the Eintracht Frankfurt star to Tottenham

Reports from Il Romanista in December suggested that Ndicka had already agreed to a pre-contract with Arsenal. Yet the Gunners have now moved to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s team in January with a £17.5m, rising to £21m after add-ons, swoop for Spezia star Jakub Kiwior.

Luckily for Ndicka, potentially, Frankfurter Rundschau reports Ndicka’s agent has offered a host of clubs his signature. The defender’s representative has contacted AC Milan, Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla and Tottenham over his transfer.

Ndicka’s agent also informed clubs, including Tottenham, of the costs to sign the Eintracht Frankfurt star in a Bosman transfer. He would demand a signing-on bonus of €15m (£13m) and a wage of €7m-a-year (£118k-a/w). The Frenchman will further expect a five-year deal.

Tottenham seem keen on Ndicka’s transfer once the centre-half leaves Eintracht Frankfurt, too. Christian Falk also reports that Spurs and the Paris-born star’s agent have spoken. But he adds that Borussia Monchengladbach are confident that they can secure his signature.

Die Adler appear to accept Evan Ndicka is leaving as they target Willian Pacho

Now, Eintracht Frankfurt appear to accept that Ndicka is leaving, potentially to Tottenham, as they eye Pacho’s transfer from Royal Antwerp. Sky Germany reports Die Adler are close to reaching an agreement to sign the 21-year-old for €9m (£8m) at the end of this season.

Pacho would not leave Royal Antwerp until the summer, when Ndicka’s contract expires at Deutsche Bank Park. Sport1 also cites Eintracht Frankfurt’s swoop for the Ecuador talent at €9m (£8m). Die Adler will pay add-ons but the cost of the deal is well below €16m (£14m).

Eintracht Frankfurt agreeing to sign Pacho in the summer appears to be an indication that they accept Ndicka is leaving. So, Tottenham could now have a clear run at the transfer of Ndicka – depending on interest from the other teams that his agent has now approached.
