Arsenal and Tottenham have now been offered the chance to sign Evan Ndicka from Eintracht Frankfurt.
What’s the story?
Well, it seems as if the Frenchman’s agents are whipping up plenty of transfer speculation for their client.
Ndicka’s contract expires at the end of the season, and as a result, there have been many rumours about his future – one particular rumour from Il Romanista claimed he had agreed to join Arsenal.
However, that now doesn’t appear to be the case.
Frankfurter Rundschau believe Ndicka’s agents are desperately trying to secure him a move this month in order to make some commission from a multi-million pound transfer, with Arsenal and Tottenham among those who have been offered the towering defender.
Strangely, the Eintracht Frankfurt No.2’s representatives are also telling clubs that it will require a five-year contract worth €50m (£44m) to sign their client now.

That includes an initial asking price of €15m (£13m) with the remaining sum coming in the form of wages across those five years.
We aren’t quite sure who would take up that offering, given the fact Ndicka becomes a free agent in June.
Frankfurter Rundschau add that Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Barcelona and Sevilla have also been offered the 23-year-old.
Arsenal & Tottenham should be fighting for Ndicka
We aren’t quite sure what his agent is up to, although Arsenal and Tottenham should both be desperate to sign Ndicka.
The France Under-21 international is one of the best defensive prospects in Europe, playing a key role as Eintracht Frankfurt won the Europa League last season.
Ndicka has also gained Champions League experience as a result of that Europa League success, making six appearances in Europe’s greatest club competition so far this term.
Both Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte could do with another left sided centre-back, so be sure to keep an eye on this developing situation.
