Before Tottenham Hotspur take on Arsenal next week, both sides will go head-to-head in a transfer battle.
At least, that’s what it looks like at the moment.
In December, Dean Jones told Give Me Sport that Arsenal thought they would be signing Evan Ndicka, but there’s been a spanner in the works from Tottenham potentially.
According to Christian Falk, Spurs have joined the Gunners in contacting the player’s agent.
The Bild journalist told Caught Offside: “Arsenal, Tottenham and AC Milan – I think they’re all talking to the agent but it’s not massively concrete at the moment as Gladbach are confident about their chances of extending his contract.”

According to Il Romanista last month, the 23-year-old French defender had chose to join Arsenal.
But speculation is getting less and less intense regarding a transfer to the Gunners and with that in mind, Tottenham – and AC Milan, going by Falk – seem to have a genuine shot.
As covered by HITC Sport this week, Eintracht Frankfurt have offered the player a new contract, with his existing deal set to expire this summer.
But at this stage, it does seem like a January exit still may be on the cards.
After all, Arsenal, Tottenham and AC Milan are all massive clubs and if all three are genuinely keen then if you’re Ndicka, you’d have to be tempted.
