Reported Leeds United target Rodrigo De Paul has won the Copa America, and he has revelled in the success on Instagram.
De Paul, who has long been linked with Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds, has won the Copa America with Argentina.
Argentina beat Brazil 1-0 in the final.
Udinese attacking midfielder De Paul was part of the squad, and he has posted the following photo of himself with the trophy on Instagram.
The 27-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, played twice for Argentina at the Copa America.
De Paul has been linked with Leeds for months, but it has been clear for a few weeks now that he is unlikely to move to Elland Road this summer.
The Sun reported in January 2021 that Leeds were looking at making a move for the Udinese star in January or this summer.
Leeds Managing Director Angus Kinnear said on The Square Ball Podcast in December 2020 that De Paul actually wanted to join the club last summer.

Il Milanista reported in May that Leeds were leading the race for the Argentine, as covered by HITC Sport.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported in June that Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal with Udinese over the transfer of De Paul.
Fabrizio Romano has now claimed on Twitter that De Paul will undergo a medical at Atletico and then sign for the La Liga club for €35 million (£29.90m).
The Udinese no.10 scored nine goals and gave nine assists in 36 Serie A games last season.
De Paul, who has been praised by the great Lionel Messi, would have been a superb signing for Leeds, but it seems that it is not to be.
