According to Il Milanista, Liverpool and Leeds are at the front of the queue to sign Udinese maestro Rodrigo de Paul.
The 19-cap Argentina international is a man in demand ahead of the summer window.
Along with Liverpool and Leeds, the likes of AC Milan, Napoli, Juventus and Inter Milan are also eyeing De Paul.
That comes as no surprise.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a fine season with nine goals and 11 assists to his name in 36 appearances.
Liverpool are newcomers to the De Paul party, whereas Leeds have been eyeing him for much longer.
Back in 2020, Leeds and De Paul contributed to one of the biggest transfer sagas of the window.
The South American even posted a tweet expressing his desire to move to Elland Road in response to The Square Ball, but quickly deleted it.

Now, after another fine season in Italy, Leeds face greater competition for the Udinese No.10 and captain.
Il Milanista state that Udinese want €40 million (£34.3 million) for their talisman.
You can see why they’ve slapped such a big price tag on him.
Udinese’s Director of Football Pierpaolo Marino said that the playmaker was a ‘world class’ footballer who also possesses a ‘tireless’ work rate.
FC Inter News quote Marino as saying: “We’re talking about a world-class player. His results are the outcome of an incredible class combined with lots of hard work and sacrifice.
“De Paul is a tireless worker and I would put him among the best captains I’ve ever had in my teams for the seriousness he always demonstrates.”

Despite the stature of the aforementioned Italian giants such as Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan, it sounds like a move to England is most likely.
Liverpool and Leeds are in the ‘front row’ to sign De Paul according to Il Milanista‘s report.
Now, we must wait and see who wins between Merseyside and Yorkshire.
