Chelsea have now joined Arsenal and Leeds in the race to sign Rennes forward Martin Terrier in January.
That is according to Jeunes Footeux, who believe Graham Potter has asked Todd Boehly for an attacking reinforcement this winter as the Blues sit seventh in the Premier League.
Chelsea want Arsenal & Leeds target
Well, it was 90min who revealed that Arsenal are interested in Terrier.
Elsewhere, it was Phil Hay of The Athletic who claimed that Leeds have done “a lot of analysis” on the French attacker, who has been one of the best forwards in Europe over the past 18 months.
So far this season, Terrier has scored 11 goals in 19 appearances, after scoring 21 goals in all competitions last term.
Jeunes Footeux believe those interested in the 25-year-old will have to bring out their ‘heavy artillery’ if Rennes are to agree to let their prolific No.7 leave.

According to Fabrizio Romano, there is likely to be a £45m price tag slapped on Terrier ahead of the January transfer window, with Rennes more than aware of their talisman’s value.
The Frenchman has a contract with the Ligue 1 side until June 2026, so there is absolutely no pressure on them to cash in this winter.
Leeds will struggle as Chelsea & Arsenal circle
Leeds were interested in Terrier back in the summer, before Chelsea and Arsenal took notice of his talents.
Now, as Leeds look set to be involved in another relegation battle this season while the pair of Londoners battle for the top prizes, it seems their chances of signing the Rennes marksman are fading.
It would require a monumental offer from Leeds in January, as well as a very attractive salary package, while Jesse Marsch will have to hope that Chelsea and Arsenal decide not to make a bid.
A lot needs to happen for Leeds to win this transfer battle now, and we simply can’t see it developing.
