Tottenham Hotspur continue to chase top young talents and appear to be closing in on yet another addition to Ange Postecoglou’s ranks.
It’s clear that Tottenham Hotspur are placing a keen focus on landing young players for the future.
First-team talents such as Micky van de Ven, Radu Dragusin and Brennan Johnson should have bright futures at the club.
Tottenham have also been focusing on signing even younger prospects though, attempting to develop teenagers for the years to come.
Ashley Phillips and Luka Vuskovic committed their futures to Tottenham last summer with Lucas Bergvall agreeing to join in February.
Archie Gray has now arrived from Leeds United too and Tottenham appear to have another teenager in the sights.

Tottenham Hotspur move for Yang Min-hyuk
Reports on Wednesday suggested that Tottenham are closing in on the signing of South Korean talent Yang Min-hyuk.
The Gangwon FC winger was promoted from high school football into a semi-professional player earlier this year and was recently given a professional deal.
Yang’s rise in 2024 has been astonishing and the 18-year-old is now nearing a move to Tottenham.
The expectation is that Yang will be loaned straight back to Gangwon to continue his development in South Korea before heading to Tottenham.
This is a fascinating move for Tottenham, who are seemingly trying to get in on Yang very early after seeing him hit seven goals and three assists in 24 appearances for Gangwon.
Tottenham appear to be closing in now but Gangwon’s president Kim Byung-ji has taken to social media to comment on the move.
Kim posted on Instagram that the deal for Yang to join Tottenham is still being worked on and is around 90-95% done.
However, Kim did add that the race for Yang – like with any transfer – ‘isn’t over until it’s over’.
“The fact is that it’s still in progress, 90%~95%,” said Kim. “There may be a place the club wants to send him to, but the prerequisite is that it has to be a place Yang Min-hyuk wants to go to. As always, transfer saga isn’t over until it’s over,” he added.
It would be a surprise for Tottenham to miss out on Yang now but Kim is just making it clear that the deal isn’t completely finalised just yet.
The teenage winger has big potential and the idea of him learning from Son Heung-min will not only go down well inside Tottenham, but also in South Korea.
Tottenham may want to mould an heir to Son by developing Yang, but the youngster has admitted that he sees himself as more of a Phil Foden-type player.
Hailed as ‘extraordinary’ by Gangwon boss Yoon Jung-hwan, Yang hasn’t been playing senior football for long and it’s important not to place high expectations on him at this stage.
Allowing Yang to continue developing in South Korea seems to be the best move and Tottenham will now hope to get the final details sorted and secure the teenager’s signature in the coming days.
