Nedum Onuoha believes his former club Manchester City are ready to part ways with a young star.
The reigning Premier League champions have hardly put a foot wrong in recent transfer windows.
Manchester City‘s track record with transfers is impeccable, whether that be the arrival of new stars or timing when to part ways with others.
Just as they seem weakened by the departures of stars such as Joao Cancelo, Riyad Mahrez and Leroy Sane, they find suitable replacements to maintain their dominance in the Premier League.
City may have to do it all again with Julian Alvarez now linked with an exit this summer.
As revealed by HITC, Julian Alvarez’s representatives have held talks with Atletico Madrid and he is open to joining the Spanish side.
HITC understands that Atletico value Alvarez at £70million, but City want a bigger fee in order to let him leave.

Nedum Onuoha on Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid
Manchester City’s stance on selling Julian Alvarez has been clear all summer, even with Atletico offering Joao Felix as part of a deal.
While the Premier League champions insist he is not for sale, former player Nedum Onuoha believes they will let him leave this summer.
Speaking on ESPN, Onuoha said “Awkwardly, I think they might [let him leave].
“I think if he is expressing a desire to leave the club because he wants to play more football then I think that will follow the same pattern.
“When you look at the success he has had over the past few years on the international stage and club stage, he is still not a guaranteed starter.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he is itching to start more, maybe he wants more assurances. If that is starting to upset the feel he has for the football club then he is no different to anybody else and maybe he will go elsewhere.”
Alvarez scored 19 goals and registered 13 assists for City in all competitions last season. However, he often found himself having to make an impact as a substitute with Pep Guardiola pushing him down the pecking order in favour of Kevin De Bruyne.
He has made his intentions to leave clear and City now face a big decision on his future this summer.
