HITC understands that Manchester United are pushing ahead to complete their third signing of the summer.

The Red Devils have already secured the signature of striker Joshua Zirkzee, and he is set to be imminently joined at Old Trafford by highly-rated defender Leny Yoro.

HITC revealed on Wednesday that Leny Yoro jetted in to begin his medical at the club ahead of a £52million move being finalised.

Manchester United are showing no signs of slowing down in the transfer market and they are now working on completing their third signing of the summer before they depart on their pre-season trip to America.

HITC understands that United are now pushing ahead to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte as they would like him on board before their tour of the States.

Manchester United in talks with PSG over Manuel Ugarte

HITC revealed earlier this month that PSG are open to selling Ugarte this summer in order to facilitate their own move for Benfica star Joao Neves.

The Portuguese side are expecting heavy financial losses which could force them into selling the likes of Neves this summer.

The Red Devils also share an interest in Neves and have been admirers of him since even before his Benfica debut.

However, they have now firmly set their sights on signing Ugarte – who joined PSG in a £51million deal last summer.

HITC can confirm that United and PSG are in talks over a deal for Ugarte with the player’s camp already confirming his desire to move to Old Trafford.

Sources say that United have done their homework on Ugarte and received glowing reports on his character. They are confident that he will be an ideal fit for their squad.

Casemiro could make way to open up space for Ugarte in Erik ten Hag’s squad – we understand that United remain in talks with the Saudi Pro League over a potential deal.
