Tottenham Hotspur are continuing their charge in pre-season after an entertaining 3-2 win over J League side Vissel Kobe.

Ange Postecoglou’s men have scored ten goals from their opening three matches, with Pedro Porro, Son Heung-min and Mikey Moore on the scoresheet in Japan.

There are a fair few exciting attacking talents on show for Tottenham, including new signing Lucas Bergvall.

The 18-year-old joined during the winter transfer window from Swedish Allsvenskan side Djurgarde and now fans are getting a taste of their latest talent.

The other teenage superstars on show for the London club include Archie Gray after he secured a transfer to Tottenham from Leeds United and 16-year-old Moore being the talk of the town.

Towards the back end of the previous campaign, supporters witnessed their academy product make his senior debut and now he is in full flow in pre-season.

Moore scored for Tottenham during their victory over Hearts and now he has added a second to his name this summer to give Postecoglou something to think about.

Yes, fans mustn’t go overboard with the player because he is younger than Spain’s Euro 2024 record-breaker Lamine Yamal.

But at least it shows that life after Harry Kane from Tottenham’s academy is looking very, very positive indeed.

One player who was certainly impressed by Moore was his partner in crime Bergvall and he reacted on the youngster’s Instagram account.

Bergvall wrote ‘wow’ in the comments section of Moore IG’s post, whilst fellow Spurs academy star Max Robson added by calling him a ‘player’ and Moore’s brother stated that he is ‘built different’.

Mikey Moore in the Premier League

At the start of July, sources told HITC that Tottenham are confident about keeping Moore amid Real Madrid and PSG interest.

The talent is serious with this kid, but patience is needed and fans might not see him in the Premier League as much as they would like.

Timo Werner has returned to Tottenham on a season-long loan, and you have plenty of other senior players able to play attacking roles.

You will assume once the season starts – away at newly-promoted Leicester City – that Moore will take a bit of a backseat and continue his development.
