Liverpool look as though they are set for a very busy summer, and fans are already dreaming about what the team will look like next season.
Fabio Carvalho has already arrived, Darwin Nunez looks set to sign, while there are also interesting rumours surrounding the likes of Matthijs De Ligt, Calvin Ramsay and Jude Bellingham.
Jose Enrique has been speculating about what Liverpool may look like next term, and he’s put together his dream Liverpool squad for next term, while also trying to keep it realistic.
Enrique says that this is a realistic team, but sadly, we’re going to have to disagree.
Simply put, Liverpool don’t have the budget to go out and sign Nunez, Bellingham and Bukayo Saka in the same window, but, there is reason to believe that we could actually see these players at Anfield in three or four years’ time.
Indeed, Mohamed Salah isn’t going to be around forever, and with Liverpool reportedly very keen on Saka, that’s a deal that could come to fruition once the Egyptian goes.
Saka wants to challenge at the very top, and while Arsenal want him to sign a new deal, the winger’s current £30,000-a-week contract is up in two years’ time, so if Liverpool make a move next summer, they could land the England international.
Nunez already looks set to sign for the Reds, while Jude Bellingham is a long-term target for the Anfield outfit.
We’re probably never going to see all of these players together, but don’t be shocked if Saka, Bellingham and Nunez are all playing in red by the time 2024 rolls around.
