Liverpool are making plans for the arrival of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, with a £90million transfer being chased for next summer.
That’s according to The Mirror, who claim that Jurgen Klopp wants Bellingham at Anfield.
Liverpool aren’t put off by the £90million asking price, which would make Bellingham their most expensive signing of all time.
Liverpool seemingly hope that their rivals will focus on Erling Haaland, allowing them to swoop in for Dortmund teammate Bellingham.
How much does Liverpool target Bellingham earn at Dortmund?
Bellingham currently earns £56,000-a-week at Dortmund according to ESPN.
Liverpool would be in a position to boost Bellingham’s wages, possibly even doubling his money.
The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Joel Matip all earn around £100,000-a-week, and Bellingham would expect similar wages if he made a £90million transfer.
With Bellingham potentially starting for years to come at Liverpool, that could be money well spent.

How much has Bellingham been fined?
Bellingham finds himself in the news right now because he has just been fined by the German Football Association.
Bellingham made comments after losing to Bayern Munich, pointing out that referee Felix Zwayer had been banned for match-fixing in the past.
The DFB ruled that Bellingham showed ‘unsportsmanlike behaviour’ and fined Bellingham €40,000 – around £34,000.
That’s almost two-third of Bellingham’s weekly wage.
Bellingham is only young and will likely learn from these comments, having spoken in the heat of the moment.
