iShowSpeed was in attendance during the World Cup semi-final, where he was approached by two of the most powerful figures in Spain.
iShowSpeed has been a consistent presence during the FIFA World Cup, appearing at several games in his quest to see the champions of the world be crowned.
But little did he know that he would be asked by two of Spain’s most financially powerful figures for a favour during the semi-final between La Roja and Les Bleus.

Santander Bank executive chief asks iShowSpeed to open account with them
During his livestream from the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, iShowSpeed was approached by what appeared to be a pair of Spanish fans.
However, when conversing with them, these two fans turned out to be Ana Botin and Juan Roig. Botin is the executive chairperson of Banco Santander, the biggest bank in Spain, while Roig owns Mercadona, the largest supermarket chain in Spain.
The business moguls approached Speed to try and get him to know more about their business, while simultaneously appearing on his highly-watched streams to get some more exposure for their brands.
When speaking to him, Botin encouraged Speed to open a bank account with Santander, boasting about their favourable interest rates and no need for a credit score.
It was a strange interaction, especially considering that the three parties had very little in common with each other. But it is understandable why the two moguls would want to appear side by side with the biggest streamer in the world.
iShowSpeed leaving his mark on 2026 FIFA World Cup so far
While iShowSpeed was a prominent figure during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, he has taken his involvement with the tournament to another level in 2026.
Not only did Speed’s 2026 World Cup song become officially recognised by FIFA as one of the official anthems of this year’s tournament, but the streamer is also set to take the stage ahead of the biggest game in the world.
iShowSpeed will be one of the performers at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, where he will be performing his song ‘Champions’ before the game kicks off.
Many have credited Speed for the growth in popularity of football among young American fans, so it is only right that he gets involved in the biggest tournament in the world.
