England resume their World Cup campaign on Saturday, taking on Norway in the quarter-finals.

The Three Lions are probably favourites for the game, but Erling Haaland is expected to cause them problems.

Ahead of the game, IShowSpeed suggested he will be supporting England, which did not go down too well with British content creator KSI.

Speed has been given access to stream at a lot of World Cup matches in North America this summer.

However, it has become a running joke online that the streamer is ‘cursed’ because nearly every team he decides to support in each game loses.

For example, when he was at the Spain vs Belgium game on Friday alongside KSI, he had a Belgium jersey on, and they lost 2-1.

During that match, Speed responded to a message about his ‘curse’ and suggested he will be supporting England on Saturday.

Speed said: “Y’all gonna see tomorrow, bro. Watch this, bro. Y’all wanna keep making these jokes like I’m a curse? Alright, bet. Let’s see. Let’s see if the curse really works. Watch.”

KSI replied: “What do you mean? Let’s see if the curse works.”

Speed: “Tomorrow’s stream. Watch this.”

KSI then expressed worry about his fellow content creator supporting England: “No, no, no no. You’re going to do what I think you’re going to do.

“Na you can’t, that’s not fair. Speed, please; na you can’t. Do not support England. Bro, this might be our World Cup.”

Speed replied: “Na y’all good,” to which KSI responded: “Support Norway, that’s the best way to test, that’s the best way to test.”

It’s obviously all fun and games, and there is no real ‘curse’, but England fans would probably prefer it if Speed did not wear an England shirt for their game this weekend.
