Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks has seen some incredible atmospheres over recent years, and Monday’s USMNT World Cup game was right up there with the best.
It was not the result that soccer fans across the United States were hoping for, with the USMNT being dumped out of the tournament by Belgium.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men put together a run of results over the last few weeks that has helped to grow the game of soccer.
🤔 Should Pochettino stay as USA manager or come back to club football? And why?
He has been offered a contract extension to take him to the next World Cup…
It was claimed around one million fans were expected in Seattle ahead of USA vs Belgium on Monday.
The supporters inside the stadium certainly delivered, with yet another impressive atmosphere on display.

How USA fans compared to Seattle Seahawks’ loudest moments
One Seattleite said the World Cup has made the city happier than ever, with the game of soccer gripping those in the Pacific Northwest.
Just months on from seeing the Seahawks lift the Super Bowl for the second time, one fan shared on X the screens inside Lumen Field showed the noise levels during Monday’s World Cup game rising to 136 dB.
Seattleites have a history of making the ground beneath them quake, with Monday’s USMNT game not too far off the loudest Lumen Field has ever been.
Seahawks fans caused a minor earthquake back in 2013 after setting a staggering atmosphere reading at 137.6 dB during their game against the New Orleans Saints.
The noise levels on Monday were not enough to help the USMNT get over the line and book their spot in the quarter-finals against Spain.
However, it is a solid indication of how the game of soccer is growing significantly across the nation.
