Scotland travelled to North America this summer to compete at their first World Cup in the 21st century.
The Tartan Army made quite the impression on the people of Boston during their stay, but their campaign ultimately ended in disappointment.
Yet despite failing to make it out of their group, one Scottish fan has stuck around in the US and has now been speaking about what sets America apart.

Scottish fan surprised that an American shop has a waterfall inside it
The fan, known simply as ‘Shaun’ on X/Twitter, recently visited a Bass Pro Shop and said that the fact that the shop has a waterfall inside it sets America apart from every other country he has travelled to.
He stated: “Do you want me to show you something that sets apart America from everywhere else I’ve been?
“Watch, this is a shop, by the way. That there is a waterfall inside the shop. Yeah.
“And one of my favourite features of all Bass Pros is that they have their own huge aquarium inside them, with a waterfall up there, and massive bass just swimming around. Look at the size of some of them. Love it.”
Amid visiting the Bass Pro outlet, Shaun is undergoing a road trip across America that will end in Nashville, which he has shared on his X page.
When revealing the trip, he also shared his love for US chain Buc-ee’s.
He wrote: “Another requirement is that there must be Buc-ee’s on route.”
The Scottish fan is one of many visitors from around the world who have shown some love for the US while visiting to watch their countries in action at this summer’s tournament, with an English supporter even meeting Donald Trump on his journey around America.
