Newcastle United have been handed a solution to their winger problems on a silver platter.

The Tyneside club are in the market for a new winger this summer with the future of Miguel Almiron up in the air.

As revealed by HITC, Newcastle United held talks with the Saudi Pro League over Almiron with the club eager to offload the 30-year-old.

Almiron is open to a move, and Newcastle United see it as an opportunity to strengthen their attacking department.

Newcastle have held talks over a move for Barcelona winger Raphinha this summer with the former Leeds United star open to returning to the Premier League.

It is understood Barcelona would want a fee around £50million to part ways with Raphinha this summer.

But after the latest news in Germany, Newcastle should turn on their heels and take advantage of a new opportunity.

Newcastle United should take risk on Champions League winner

According to Mundo Deportivo, Bayern Munich are looking to find a new club for Kingsley Coman.

The German giants do not see Coman as part of their first-team plans and are open to letting him leave this summer – even on a loan deal.

HITC revealed that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been made aware of Coman’s availability.

The French star is able to play on either wing and has a remarkable trophy record throughout his career – he won 11 consecutive league titles across different clubs until Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga triumph last season.

Coman has also won the Champions League with Bayern in 2020 and was a runner-up with Juventus in 2015.

The only issue is that Coman struggled with injury last season which would make his signing a risk. But Bayern are open to a loan deal so he could arrive at St James’ Park as a marquee signing for a much smaller fee than Barcelona are demanding for Raphinha.

That would also free up funds for Newcastle to spend elsewhere.

Newcastle United transfer news

Signing Coman for a small fee – or even a loan – would address Newcastle’s need for extra depth out wide while also allowing the club to spend big on Marc Guehi.

Newcastle would have to break their club transfer record to sign Marc Guehi after showing an interest in the Crystal Palace star.

Snapping up Guehi and Coman in quick succession would be a strong statement of intent as Newcastle look to return to the top four this season.
