FIFA president Gianni Infantino is trying his best to divert away from the controversy surrounding Donald Trump and the Folarin Balogun situation at the World Cup.
Taking to his personal Instagram account after Belgium’s 4-1 win, he shared a message for the USMNT.
“USMNT’s home FIFA World Cup campaign comes to an end at Seattle, but they were very competitive in this game and gave their nation so much to cheer throughout.”
That wasn’t all, as Infantino also praised the performance of Belgium.
“Congratulations to Belgium on an enjoyable performance and impressive win.”
