David Silva Spain

He started his career at Valencia but had loan spells at Eibar and Celta Vigo during the six year period he was part of the first team squad at the Mestalla, before he moved to Manchester City in 2010. He received his first Spain cap in 2006 and has won two European Championships and the World Cup with them. He has also won the Premier League title, the FA Cup and the Copa Del Rey.

Right, I do apologise, but I’m going to have to start this video with a brief rant about the Ballon d’Or. A once fine institution and award, I fear it has been somewhat sullied in recent years. I mean, to start off with we should get back to basics. It is supposed to be an award given to the best individual over the course of a calendar year, and I fear it does neither of those things.
