Pep Guardiola’s City have reclaimed the Premier League title from Liverpool this season.
The Citizens were confirmed as the champions following Manchester United’s 2-1 to Leicester City at Old Trafford this evening.
Former City star Silva has just sent the following message to the Citizens on Twitter.
City have been the best team in the Premier League this season and have deservedly won the title.
It was clear several weeks ago that the Citizens were going to win the title.
Liverpool, who won the title last season, are having a very bad season and may not even finish in the top four.
Silva is a club legend, and it is great to see the Spanish attacking midfielder revel in City’s success this season.
The 35-year-old left the English club for Real Sociedad last summer.
During his time at City, Silva won the Premier League title on four occasions, the FA Cup twice and the EFL Cup as many as five times.
