Bryan Gil has posted a small clip on his Instagram story of his Tottenham Hotspur teammate Rodrigo Bentancur in training at Hotspur Way.
The Tottenham winger, who is out for a significant period himself, added in a three-word caption via his Instagram story, ‘what a technique’, as he posted a clip of Rodrigo Bentancur hoping over mini hurdles.
Back in February, the all-action midfielder suffered an ACL injury, which was a body blow for Tottenham, who just continued to decline post-2023 and then ended up finishing outside of Europe after Antonio Conte was sacked.
A lot has changed since then, with a new manager in Ange Postecoglou in the dugout, as well as the departure of the club’s all-time leading goalscorer, Harry Kane.
On Sunday, Spurs recorded a 2-2 draw at Brentford, with midfielder Yves Bissouma producing a Man of the Match display and James Maddison getting two assists on his debut.
Now, the fans just can’t wait for Bentancur to return back to the pitch as quickly as possible because they are very much looking forward to Maddison-Bissouma-Bentancur lining up in the Premier League.

Bentancur under Postecoglou
James Maddison is the perfect midfielder for Ange Postecoglou, in terms of from a creative and attacking sense, whilst Yves Bissouma is that brute strength and defensive brain.
But it could be argued that Bentancur is the all-rounder he is looking for because he seems to be the balance between both Maddison and Bissouma.
The quicker he returns to action, the better for Spurs, who after losing Kane to Bayern Munich, have reacted in a very positive fashion.
