Spurs haven’t won at Stamford Bridge for four years, following a 3-1 win under Mauricio Pochettino without their talisman Harry Kane, when Conte was in charge of the Blues.

Both sides won their opening games of the 2022-23 season, Tottenham were far more convincing then Thomas Tuchel’s Blues and Sunday promises to be a pulsating clash.

Chelsea are likely to be one of the busiest Premier League sides in the last three weeks of the summer transfer window, and there looks to be a host of incomings and outgoings in west London.

Ahead of Sunday’s blockbuster game, we take a look back at the last Chelsea XI to lose at home against Tottenham.

Caballero is currently at Southampton having moved to the St Mary’s Stadium in December and the five-time former Argentina international has made four appearances for the Saints.

Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen both departed Stamford Bridge as free agents following the expiry of their contacts.

Rudiger has joined Real Madrid and the Dane has moved to fellow La Liga giants Barcelona and the pair will face off in El Clasico.

Chelsea’s club captain Cesar Azpilicueta seemed to be intent on following Christensen to the Nou Camp but the Spaniard has had a change of heart and has signed a two-year extension with the Blues.

Conte developed Victor Moses into a title-winning right wing-back and the Italian re-signed the Nigerian on loan during his time in charge of Inter Milan.

The former Wigan Athletic man is currently playing in Russia for Spartak Moscow having signed on a permanent deal last summer after an initial season-long loan.

N’Golo Kante has just started his seventh season at Stamford Bridge and Tuchel will no doubt be hoping that the 31-year-old Frenchman can stay fit.

The former Leicester City ace remains crucial to Chelsea’s chances and the former Paris Saint Germain manager may have to carefully manage his number seven’s workload this season.

Cesc Fabregas has joined Serie B side Como on a two-year deal following his release from Monaco.

The 35-year-old won two Premier League titles, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup during his four-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge following his arrival from Barcelona.

The midfield maestro, who won the 2010 World Cup and two European Championships with Spain, scored 22 goals and provided 57 assists from 198 matches for Chelsea.

Unlike Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso’s desire to move to Barcelona hasn’t wavered this summer and the left-back is closing in on a move to the Catalans, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Willian and Eden Hazard haven’t got anywhere near to reproducing the same influential and devastating form since departing west London.

The Brazil international is keen on a return to the Premier League as Fulham enter negotiations with the former Chelsea and Arsenal winger, as reported by Goal.

The 34-year-old scored just one goal during his solitary season at the Emirates Stadium having scored 63 goals and laid on 62 assists during his seven-year stay with Chelsea.

Hazard was nothing short of electric during his time in England and in his final season with the Blues he scored 21 goals and provided 17 assists.

The Belgian scored 110 goals in 352 games for Chelsea after joining from Lille in 2012, and scored twice to help his former side win the Europa League final against Arsenal in his final game for the club.

Real Madrid signed the dazzling forward for a fee that could exceed £150m, but Los Blancos haven’t got close to seeing one of Chelsea’s greatest ever players in full flow.

The 31-year-old has been riddled with injuries since moving to the Spanish capital and has only scored six goals in three seasons.

Chelsea paid a then-club record £60m to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid in July 2017.

The Spaniard opened the scoring against Tottenham in April 2018 via a header from a Moses cross, but two goals from Dele Alli and a Christian Eriksen strike turned the game on its head.

The Spain international spent 18 months in England before returning to his homeland via a loan move to Atletico Madrid.

Morata, who scored 24 goals in 72 games for Chelsea, joined Diego Simeone’s Atletico on a permanent deal in 2020 and he’s back at the Wanda Metropolitano after spending the last two seasons on loan at former club Juventus.
