Chelsea look set to be one of the busiest Premier League sides during the last 24 days of the summer transfer window.

With American billionaire Todd Boehly and his consortium at the helm, Thomas Tuchel will be hoping for several more reinforcements before the window slams shut.

But as well as bringing in quality players, the former Paris Saint Germain manager will be hoping the Blues can find potential suitors for his unwanted lucrative stars.

With that in mind, HITC Sport has put together a Chelsea XI that could leave before the summer transfer window closes.

Chelsea signed Kepa from Athletic Bilbao for £71m in August 2018 – the highest fee ever paid for a goalkeeper, and a then-club record transfer.

Following the arrival of Edouard Mendy, the Spaniard has been a back-up option to the African Cup of Nations winner.

However, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Serie A giants Napoli are reportedly closing in on a loan move the 27-year-old who has 11 caps for Spain.

The three-time England international has asked the Blues to be allowed to leave on loan this summer, according to The Telegraph.

By no means a full-back, but we had to fit the pacey winger into the side, Hudson-Odi was left out of Chelsea’s squad for their opening day 1-0 win against Everton.

According to The Guardian, Leicester City and Southampton are interested in the 21-year-old.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 21-year-old centre-back is in talks to join Serie A side Spezia on a permanent deal.

The Wales international has spent the last three seasons out on loan but it looks like he could be leaving Stamford Bridge for good this summer.

Ampadu is one of a handful of Chelsea players that haven’t been handed a squad number ahead of the new season.

CB – Malang Sarr

The former Nice man is attracting interest from Fulham and Monaco, but the former France Under-21 international reportedly prefers a move back to his homeland.

A possible season-long loan deal with an option to buy is being discussed with Sarr, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

However with Tuchel keen to land further defensive reinforcements, the 23-year-old’s departure may not be sanctioned until later on in the window.

LB – Marcos Alonso

Romano reports that negotiations between Chelsea and Barcelona regarding Alonso is at the final stages and Barca will sign the attack-minded left-back for less than €10m (£8.4m).

The Spaniard had a year left to run on his contract in west London and he made it clear to the Blues that he wanted to sign for Xavi’s side.

Tuchel didn’t consider Chelsea’s number three for selection for the win at Goodison Park due to his desire to move on.

CM – Billy Gilmour

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is interested in signing Gilmour on a season-long loan and bolstering Everton’s midfield options.

The Scotland international is another Blues player who hasn’t been given a squad number this season and Gilmour looks set to leave Stamford Bridge on loan for the second consecutive season.

Gilmour spent last season on loan at Norwich City.

Celtic, West Ham United and Newcastle United are among the clubs interested in signing the former Everton ace from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Simon Phillips.

Phillips told GiveMeSport that Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion are also keen on securing the services of the England international who desperately needs first team football.

RW – Kenedy

The Brazilian is another player that hasn’t been given a squad number and with his contract expiring in June, the 26-year-old’s seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge looks to be drawing to a close.

Kenedy, who has been sent out on loan five times since arriving from Fluminense, has made 30 appearances for the first team.

AM – Hakim Ziyech

Chelsea signed the Moroccan playmaker from Ajax in a deal worth £36.6m but Ziyech has failed to have the same influential impact he had in Amsterdam in west London.

From 83 games for the Blues, Ziyech has scored 14 goals and provided ten assists.

AC Milan have been constantly linked with the 29-year-old this summer and Chelsea are reportedly willing to let the left footer depart for £8m, according to The Mail.

RB Leipzig have agreed a deal to re-sign Werner on a permanent deal. According to Sky in Germany, a fee of £25.3m (€30m) plus bonuses has been agreed.

Chelsea paid the Bundesliga side £47m to sign the Germany international in 2020 but the 26-year-old has only scored 10 Premier League goals during his two seasons in England.

With the World Cup just months away, the speedy forward will be hoping to rediscover his best form back at the Red Bull Arena.

The Belgium international, who has 25 goals from 45 caps for his country, has been linked with a season-long loan move to the likes of Everton and Wolves.

The 28-year-old, who has been sent out on loan five times since moving to Stamford Bridge from Marseille, has scored 15 goals in the Premier League.
