Mohammed Kudus is begging reported £12 million Liverpool target Kamaldeen Sulemana to join him at Eredivisie champions Ajax during the summer transfer window, as reported by ESPN.
Is there a better destination than the Johan Cruyff Arena for a 19-year-old winger with potential by the bucketload but much still to learn?
In recent years, Davinson Sanchez, Hakim Ziyech, Arkadiusz Milik and more passed through one of European football’s most feted finishing schools, arriving on the cheap before being sold for a massive profit.
David Neres, Antony and Nicolas Tagliafico could be among the next to go as Ajax’s famed transfer strategy continues to work wonders.
Kudus, meanwhile, turned down offers from a number of Premier League clubs, including Everton and Tottenham, to join Ajax in the summer of 2020.
And Kudus is hoping to convince the man who inherited his number ten shirt at Nordsjaelland to join him in Amsterdam.
“Of course I am here now and I can help him. The step from Denmark to Manchester United is very big. He has the talent to play there because I believe in him,” said Kudus, who marked his debut season in Dutch football with an Eredivisie title.

“In my view, however, moving from Denmark (to Holland) is better. Whatever he chooses, he has the qualities to show it everywhere.
“He is a fast, agile and smart winger. He has everything. He will fit in well with our playing style, especially as a fast winger. He can score and give assists.
“I think he is a perfect player for Ajax.”
The Mail reported last week that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were one of 12 clubs who sent scouts to watch the £12 million-rated Sulemana in action recently.
A sprightly left-winger in the Sadio Mane mould, the man himself would later admit that it is probably the right time to leave the relatively small pond that is Danish football behind.
