Kamaldeen Sulemana is “ready” for a move away from Scandinavia as Liverpool and Manchester United compete to take the Nordsjaelland winger to the Premier League, speaking to Bold.

Blessed with searing pace, dextrous dribbling skills and an eye for goal, you can see why this 19-year-old left-winger has been compared to Sadio Mane.

And, given Mane has fallen well short of his usually sky-high standards this season, the potential arrival of Sulemana at Anfield could give Jurgen Klopp’s Senegalese superstar a kick up the backside at precisely the right time.

The Daily Mail reports Liverpool were one of 12 clubs to send scouts to watch Nordsjaelland’s 2-2 draw with Copenhagen at the weekend – a game in which Sulemana scored his tenth goal of an impressive breakthrough season.

Manchester United are also opening talks over a £12 million deal while Ajax, who snapped up another Nordsjaelland-based Ghanaian star in box-to-box midfielder Mohammed Kudus last year, could be about to return to a familiar hunting ground.

“I feel ready to move – but we have to see this summer what happens,” Sulemana said when asked about a potential move away from the Danish top flight.

“I can see myself fitting into all the big clubs. There’s no specific league I feel suits me better so I am open to all leagues – especially the top five.”

Sulemana insists he would also consider a move to a club outside one of Europe’s major leagues – a not-so-subtle wink in the direction of Ajax.

Nordsjaelland sporting director Jan Laursen, meanwhile, insists anyone wanting to sign the two-time Ghana international would have to pay a pretty penny.

“There are many who follow him. Of course, some of the heavyweights follow him closely,” Laursen says.

“I have the feeling there are some who will be happy (to sign him) even if they have to pay a lot of money – but time will tell.”
