- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC understands that a new club is showing interest in Manchester United’s Scott McTominay this summer.
The Red Devils are willing to sell the 27-year-old for the right price this summer in order to raise funds for other targets.
Manchester United have already signed Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, and now all attention has turned to midfield targets.
They have made Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte their top target but with talks stalling they have also explored other options.
More than a dozen midfielders have been offered to United this summer as they look to add to Erik ten Hag’s squad. If a new midfielder is signed, Scott McTominay will likely head out the exit door.
McTominay has already seen potential moves to Fulham and Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray stall as the player was not willing to move away from Old Trafford.
Now, a new contender for his signature has emerged.

New interest in Scott McTominay
HITC can confirm that Napoli have spoken to McTominay about the prospect of moving to Italy.
Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has shown interest Billy Gilmour, but he is also a fan of his Scottish international colleague McTominay.
The Italian giants have now made a move and have met with McTominay’s agents to check on his availability and whether he would be open to a move.
McTominay has spent his entire career at Manchester United and has so far snubbed any chance to leave this summer.
Napoli have learned that United value McTominay around £30million – a fee Fulham were not willing to match.
However, the Serie A giants would prefer a loan deal for McTominay this summer.
Napoli director in England
HITC revealed earlier this week that Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is in England to work on several deals.

That includes potential deals for Victor Osimhen, Romelu Lukaku and Billy Gilmour – but also McTominay.
Manna has spoken to United about what a deal might look like for McTominay as they consider a move.
