
Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed personal terms with Cristian Romero.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has said Tottenham have agreed a contract with the Atalanta central defender until June 2026.
Spurs and Atalanta are now locked in talks over a transfer fee.

There is a distinct possibility that Romero could join Tottenham from Atalanta this summer, based on Romano’s comments.
Of course, Spurs and Atalanta still need to agree on a fee, and that could take time.
What is clear is that the Argentina international central defender wants to join Tottenham.
