HITC understands that Chelsea and Napoli are continuing talks over Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea‘s search for a striker has continued after their move for Samu Omorodion collapsed due to a ‘major contract issue’.

The collapse of the Omorodion deal has also caused a delay to Conor Gallagher’s move to Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea remain in talks over the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Napoli and they are hopeful that they can finalise terms this week.

After loaning him out several times, Chelsea would prefer a permanent deal for Romelu Lukaku and have set an asking price of £35million.

However, Napoli’s valuation of the Belgian forward is closer to £25million so negotiations are ongoing to find a solution.

Lukaku, whose name has also been put forward to Aston Villa and intermediaries, has made it clear to Chelsea that he wants to reunite with Antonio Conte in Naples.

Chelsea continue Victor Osimhen pursuit

Chelsea are also continuing to hold talks about Victor Osimhen and have not ruled out the prospect of landing the Nigerian superstar this summer.

With Omorodion now off the table, Chelsea have turned their attention back to Osimhen, who is also wanted by French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Osimhen has made it clear that he wants to leave Napoli and he has played no part in their start to the season.

However, neither Chelsea or Paris Saint-Germain have come up with a deal nearing Napoli’s demands.

They are showing no signs of slowing their spending and a big-money deal for Osimhen would cap off what has been a crazy window for the Blues.

They are also working on further sales with HITC confirming that Raheem Sterling has been made available amid interest from Juventus.
