As Arsenal prepare to face Pep Guardiola’s Man City in a potential Premier League title decider, we have decided to call Mikel Arteta’s predicted lineup for the much-awaited contest.
The Gunners will be eyeing nothing less than a victory, after drawing 1-1 to Brentford and win the game held at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite the pressure perhaps being slightly more on the hosts to deliver, we expect an unchanged XI to feature.
Arsenal predicted lineup vs Man City
In goal, Aaron Ramsdale will keep his place in between the sticks, as per usual.
While Sol Campbell recently said that Ben White’s level has dropped, he is expected to retain his place at right-back.
Similarly, William Saliba, who struggled up against Ivan Toney also seems set to start against Man City in our Arsenal predicted lineup. Gabriel Magalhaes, who has been described as the most ‘underrated’ player in the Premier League by Jose Enrique is also likely to start alongside his partner-in-crime at the back on Wednesday.
At left-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko is also set to keep his place in the side, despite not being at his brilliant best against Brentford.
In defensive midfield, the ‘fantastic’ Thomas Partey will perhaps be the first name in the team sheet.
In front of the Ghanaian, the attacking pair of Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard also seems undroppable at this point.
The same can be said for Bukayo Saka, who managed to produce a moment of magic on a dour day for his boyhood club against Brentford as well.
Up top, Eddie Nketiah is also set to retain his place in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Man City.
While there has been a constant debate over whether Gabriel Martinelli, who Gabby Agbonlahor said via talkSPORT has not been in the same vein of form since the World Cup should be replaced by the ‘fantastic’ Leandro Trossard, we feel Mikel Arteta will keep the faith in the Brazilian.
