According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan are now making a move to beat Arsenal to Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Onana picked up a year-long suspension in February for a positive doping violation, but has had his ban cut and can now play in November.
The 25-year-old is also out of contract next summer, and Ajax are seemingly willing to sell on the cheap this summer.
Arsenal’s pursuit for Onana
Arsenal have been chasing Onana, with goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana recommending a move having worked with him in the Barcelona youth setup.
NOS in the Netherlands reported earlier this month that Arsenal were favourites to sign Onana in a deal worth around £8million, having been promised a first-choice role at the Emirates Stadium.
Fabrizio Romano has added that Arsenal view Onana as ‘perfect’, but Charles Watts claims that Arsenal haven’t accelerated their move at all.

Inter now trying to swoop in
Di Marzio now states that Inter Milan are making a move for Onana, and want to sign him alongside Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.
The pair share an agent, and Inter have made their first move for Onana by asking about a potential deal.
If Arsenal aren’t careful, Onana could slip through the net and end up joining Inter – not ideal if the Gunners really do think he is ‘perfect’.
