Archie Gray has named the two Tottenham Hotspur players that he looked up to as the midfielder continues preparations for the new season.
Tottenham Hotspur completed the signing of Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray earlier this month, with the Lilywhites stealing in ahead of Brentford to sign the talented teenager.
Ange Postecoglou is understood to have played a key role in convincing Gray that his future would be best served in North London.
Gray made his debut for Spurs against Hearts during the opening game of pre-season and fans of the Lilywhites were very impressed with the quality on show from the former Leeds midfielder.

Gray names Heung Min-Son and Ben Davies as players he looks up to
Since moving to the club, the teenager has made quite the impact on his teammates at the club and speaking to Tottenham’s official website, Gray named the two players he looks up to when reflecting on the start he has made for the club.
“It has been brilliant so far. I have enjoyed training a lot and just getting to know everyone. It has been a bit crazy,” Gray said.
”I have been watching them on TV since I was fifteen, perhaps even younger, especially Ben (Davies) and people like (Heung-Min) Son – they are players I have looked up to.”
”It is just mental to think that I will hopefully be playing with them. It has been good so far.”
Gray could well go down as one of the signings of the summer if he fulfils his potential in the Premier League.
Postecoglou has superb player on his hands in Gray
Last season for Leeds, Gray was one of the player’s of the season for The Whites as they suffered play-off final heartbreak to Southampton.
Such was the impact made by Gray at Leeds, former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor believes the Yorkshire club won’t reach the play offs without the midfielder.
Such was the impressiveness of his performances for Leeds, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid scouted Gray and it would appear Postecoglou has an elite midfielder on his hands.
