Radu Dragusin could be presented as a Tottenham Hotspur player as early as tonight after the Premier League outfit finally agreed a £26 million fee with Serie A outfit Genoa.
Florin Manea can finally rest a little easier tonight, in the knowledge that his work is done.
Radu Dragusin’s agent begun speaking about a potential move to the Premier League for the Romania international as far back as September. Four months later, and after interest from the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United, Roma, Napoli and latterly Bayern Munich, Dragusin’s destination is no longer a secret.

Tottenham Hotspur agree Radu Dragusin fee with Genoa
“We are going to Tottenham,” Manea revealed in conversation with GSP, understandably relieved – and presumably more than a little exhausted – after reaching light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel territory.
“This morning, at 8am, the decision was made. We were determined to go to Tottenham. But the offer came from Bayern. And we stopped in place. I was on my way to the airport.
“I said we have to think carefully and evaluate. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs. I can’t believe I turned Bayern down! But that’s the decision. I took it with Radu and his family. I informed Bayern that this was the decision. We are a little shocked to turn down Bayern…
“But it was ultimately what Radu and his family wanted. He is happy.”
An unveiling could be imminent
Dragusin, of course, is not officially a Tottenham Hotspur player just yet. That could change, however, by the time the clock strikes midnight.
“He has already done the first part of the medical visit. He is now leaving for the second part,” Manea adds. “It will be performed elsewhere.
“Also, tonight I think is the presentation. The first part of the visit has passed, the second is coming.”
Dragusin, HITC Football understands, will set Spurs back a cool £26 million. Djed Spence will join Genoa on loan as part of the deal, the full-back crying out for a fresh start and a clean break after an ill-fated stint at Leeds.
Dragusin’s arrival, meanwhile, could see Bayern turn their attention to one Eric Dier. HITC understands that talks are already underway.
