Jose Enrique says Leandro Trossard will join Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur over Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal after their London rivals missed out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea.
The former Liverpool left-back added that Arsenal should push for the Brighton star’s signature because of the ‘small fee’ they would have to pay for him, but he thinks he’ll end up at Spurs, as he posted on Instagram.
Trossard is out of the picture at high-flying Brighton, at this moment in time, after a falling out with the new manager, Roberto De Zerbi.

The 28-year-old, dubbed ‘unreal’ by Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, is out-of-contract at the Amex Stadium at the end of the season and he is fishing for a move this month.
Whilst Trossard can leave for nothing in the summer, it does seem as though Brighton have the power to extend his contract by 12 months, so from his perspective, whatever game he is playing, it’s not a clever one.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have the youngest squad in the Premier League, and that’s another reason why Enrique thinks he would go to Hotspur Way, instead.
“For me, I believe he is going to go to Tottenham because Arsenal always tries to look for younger players,” said Enrique.
“But if I was Arsenal, after not being able to sign Mudryk, then I will definitely go for Trossard because of the small price and he sorts out the striker position as well while Gabriel Jesus is out.”
NO SURPRISE IF TROSSARD DOESN’T LEAVE
Over the past few years, Brighton have proven to be one of the best-run clubs in the Premier League.
From how they pluck out talents from nowhere, with Trossard being one of them and how they get what they want in the transfer market for their players.
So, from that perspective, Brighton won’t budge and will want the correct price for their player, if it’s not met, then he stays put.
And, in truth, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he doesn’t leave this month and then just rots away until the season ends.
