Is Mykhaylo Mudryk coming to Arsenal? Many have been keen to know if Shakhtar Donetsk will sell their No.10 to Mikel Arteta.
The Ukraine international is keen to join the Gunners – as shown by his numerous Instagram hints – while he has also given Arteta his word that he will join, according to Fabrizio Romano.
As things stand, Arsenal are still in negotiations, with Shakhtar Donetsk demanding £85m.
Now, Mudryk has posted yet another interesting teaser on Instagram.
What’s the story?
Well, the 22-year-old uploaded a photo to his Instagram story earlier today which got Arsenal fans talking.
As you can see below, Mudryk posted a photo of himself watching YouTube, where a video can be seen on the TV which appears to show the Ukraine international wearing an Arsenal shirt.
It comes after ESPN journalist Jorge Baravalle – the man who revealed that Willian would be having his Arsenal contract terminated ahead of a move to Corinthians – claimed that Mudryk has joined the Gunners.
Foot Mercato also believe the deal is edging towards the final stages.
Mudryk is currently in Turkey with the Shakhtar Donetsk first-team for a training camp, where he sparked discussion amongst Arsenal fans following a seemingly frosty conversation with Darijo Srna, Director of Football for the Ukrainian giants.
Some Arsenal supporters even claimed that it “looked like a goodbye” from Mudryk.
Is Mudryk coming to Arsenal?
At this point, we would be very surprised if Mudryk doesn’t join Arsenal.
Chelsea seemed to be Arsenal’s main rivals for his signature, but they have since moved on to Joao Felix.
With Mudryk clearly desperate to join Arteta in north London, we believe this deal will be completely swiftly once Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk come to a financial agreement.
