Arsenal fans have now been treated to an update on Mykhaylo Mudryk by the man who revealed the Willian contract story in 2021.
What’s the story?
Well, it was ESPN’s Jorge Baravalle who revealed that Willian would be having his contract terminated at Arsenal before returning to Brazil with Corinthians in August 2021.
He tweeted: “Willian terminated his contract with Arsenal. His future would be at Corinthians. Yes. Brazil continues to break the market.”
That claim turned out to be spot on – now, Baravalle has made another claim about Arsenal, which should seriously excite supporters based on the reliability of his story regarding Willian.
The ESPN journalist believes Mikel Arteta and Edu – Director of Football at the Emirates Stadium – have now signed Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk after Chelsea moved on to Joao Felix.
Baravalle wrote on Twitter: “Mudryk will be an Arsenal player. Arteta is left with one of the jewels of European football.”
Now, there have been plenty of claims about the Ukraine international – it has become difficult to keep up with it all, especially in regards to what is true, and what is false.
However, this update seems to have some credence based on Baravalle’s past claims about Arsenal, specifically the Willian story, in which he hit the nail on the head.
Mudryk to Arsenal gathering pace
Many have been asking on Google: have Arsenal signed Mudryk?
As things stand, it seems as if the deal is gathering momentum.

Chelsea were the main challengers for the 22-year-old’s signature, although after the Blues struck an agreement to sign Joao Felix on loan from Atlético Madrid, many claims like Baravalle’s have been made.
As far as we know, Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk are yet to agree a fee, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they came to an agreement soon based on the rumours emerging today.
