Former Liverpool player Sadio Mane refused to acknowledge the German media by telling them ‘you are killing me everyday’ as his nightmare spell at Bayern Munich continues.

Nobody is going to deny that things have gone very wrong for the 31-year-old after he was sold by Liverpool to the Bundesliga champions for £35 million (Sky Sports) last summer.

But he clearly has had enough of the negative headlines that are being written about him, so he made his feelings clear when a German reporter approached him to answer a question, as posted by SportsBible

Sadio Mane was flying high in the colours of Liverpool. He had just helped Senegal win the Africa Cup of Nations and, by the smallest of margins, Jurgen Klopp’s men had narrowly missed out on four historic trophies.

It could be argued that if Manchester City didn’t complete that stunning last-day comeback and Liverpool had beaten Real Madrid in Paris, then Mane would have secured the Ballon d’Or for that campaign.

But now, he has taken a fair few blows and he is clearly unhappy with the media in Germany.

“You are killing me everyday and then you want me to talk to you guys?!” said Mane to a German reporter who approached him with a question. “Come on!?”

Is Mane Saudi bound? Or will he return to the Premier League?

Julian Nagelsmann was the man who signed Mane from Liverpool, but just before the end of the campaign, Bayern decided to sack the 36-year-old and replace him with Thomas Tuchel.

It didn’t help Mane’s cause that he ended up punching Leroy Sane early on in Tuchel’s reign, who now wants to sell the explosive forward this summer, Newcastle United have been linked, as well as a possible move to Saudi Arabia, as reported by BBC Sport.

The signs were clear on the final day of last season. Bayern needed a win, and for Dortmund to drop points, in order to win the title.

Whilst they got away with it all and won the title, Mane reminded on the bench and wasn’t even used by Tuchel.
