Lee Hendrie has praised Wolverhampton Wanderers on Twitter after watching them in action against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.
The former Aston Villa star has said that Wolves were very good yesterday in the Premier League game against Spurs.
Although the Wanderers lost 1-0, Hendrie thought that Bruno Lage’s side were very entertaining.
The pundit believes that it is only a matter of time before Wolves score four or five goals against an opposition.
Wolves have lost both of their Premier League games so far this season, but Lage’s side have been very entertaining.
The problem for the Wanderers has been that they have failed to score.
Against Leicester, Wolves had as many as 17 shots.
Only three of them were on target.
Against Tottenham yesterday, Lage’s side took 25 shots.
Just six of them were on target.
Winger Adama Traore also missed a very good chance against Spurs.
Wolves are playing well and defending strongly. What they are lacking is finishing the chances they are creating.
It will happen.
As Hendrie says, it is only a matter of time before Wolves find their finishing touch.
