Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno has raved about Dele Alli for his performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers, as quoted in Football.London.
Alli scored for Tottenham in their 1-0 win against Wolves away from home in the Premier League yesterday.
The 25-year-old England international midfielder has a very good game, and Nuno has praised him.
The former Wolves boss has said that Alli is working very hard and has pointed out how he was running and trying to help his teammates even in the final minutes of the game.
Nuno told Football.London about Alli: “He’s working very hard. I think all the team is working hard.
“We still have a long way to go and are working very hard to improve, the relationship between players and being very versatile enough.
“Dele did a very good job and he worked very hard. He scored in the beginning of the game and in the last minutes of the game he was running all over the pitch so that shows the level of fitness that he has and the belief that he has. A huge, huge help.”

How did Dele Alli play?
Alli scored after just nine minutes from the penalty spot, and that proved to be the difference between Wolves and Spurs.
In fact, it was the former MK Dons midfielder who earned the spot kick at Molineux.
It was the 25-year-old’s first Premier League goal since March 2020.

Alli was very good defensively, especially on the occasion when he flung himself in front of a Raul Jimenez shot.
Alli has not been at his best for the past two or so seasons, but the midfielder has started this campaign on a positive note.
Perhaps this is the season when Alli gets back to his best.
