Paul Merson has predicted on Sky Sports News (12:15pm, November 5, 2022) that Graham Potter’s Chelsea will finish above Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table this season.
The former Arsenal star has not been impressed by how Tottenham have been playing this season.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that Chelsea will end up above London rivals Spurs in the league table this campaign.
Tottenham are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 13 matches, five points behind leaders and bitter North London rivals Arsenal.
Chelsea currently find themselves sixth in the standings with 21 points from 12 games.

In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur could end up above Chelsea in the Premier League table this season.
Yes, Chelsea have traditionally been a more successful team and do have some very good players, but Spurs are doing well at the moment.
Antonio Conte’s side may not be playing wonderful football now, but they are grinding out results.
Chelsea under manager Graham Potter do play better football than Spurs, but Conte would not care about that if Tottenham ended up in the Premier League top four yet again this season.
