MLB star Juan Soto became a movie star on Friday after he was involved with Hollywood actress Emma Stone in filming for a new movie.

The New York Mets were unable to pull off a small miracle and beat the Los Angeles Dodgers at Citi Field on Friday.

Following their visit to the White House, the Dodgers added another win to their incredible record as they look to complete a third consecutive MLB title.

Although the Mets were only able to put two runs on the board, there was plenty of action in the dugout at Citi Field.

Stone, 37, was spotted in the Mets dugout with Soto prior to the first ball being thrown, with the pair involved in a movie set to come out in the near future.

Soto is widely recognised as the highest-paid MLB player, with a yearly salary just under $62m for the 2026 season.

The 27-year-old can also add the job title of actor to his resume after filming a scene with Stone for an upcoming movie.

‘The Catch’ is a baseball-romance movie starring Stone and Chris Pine, which is set to be released in 2027.

Stone was seen meeting a number of the Mets players and staff ahead of the scene being filmed in the dugout with Soto.

The six-time Silver Slugger, Soto, has hit 21 homers this season and has put up 53 RBIs.

However, the Mets are enduring a dreadful season and sit rock bottom of the NL East and have even been mocked by Donald Trump in recent days.

“The Mets have the highest salary in baseball, and they lose all the time,” said the President of the United States.

This was, of course, a nod to Soto’s league-leading salary, after he signed a $765 million contract over 15 years with the Mets.
